Massinger Spa House and Sanctuary  is a destination in itself. This large, stunning Federation home, in the grounds of Byron Blissspa Day Spa,  has been lovingly restored to provide the ultimate in retreats. Located in the heritage quarter of Byron Bay, the property is close to Clarke's beach and the iconic Beach Café.

Each space within Massinger provides a different experience – choose from cool, deep decks with pillows piled high on day beds to soak up the balmy bay breezes and bluest of skies, sun room, lounge room, kitchen/dining room, entertainment deck for relaxing evenings.

All of this in the grounds of our tropical Blissspa Day Spa and Sanctuary where spa guests enjoy a Balinese gazebo featuring a generous day bed and deep water Jacuzzi to wash away your cares, together with double treatment room, sauna and chilled rainwater showers.

Yoga, Pilates, and Tarot Card Reading plus many more personalised activities can be arranged on site.

Our Day Spa features temple-like gardens, abundant in mature and rare tropical plants, and dotted throughout with water fountains, fish ponds and relics from abroad as well as our resident Water Dragon "Spike" who basks daily in the sun.

Massinger Spa House Guests receive a 20% discount on all spa bookings.

French doors open from each of the three downstairs bedrooms on to decks or garden areas. Canopied four poster beds feature in the king room and two queen rooms with sumptuous linen and quilts adding to the sense of indulgence.

Massinger Spa House is  fully equipped with all the little extras that make it a luxury home-away-from-home... fine bed linen, soft thick towels, gourmet teas and coffee.

Blisshouse Massinger sleeps up to 6 guests and is an exceptional option for group or family holidays, wedding entertaining or for couples wanting a spacious hideaway.

Blisshouse Massinger "plus" sleeps up to 8 guests with the addition of the private upstairs suite.    Also just a minute's stroll from 'Carlyle' makes this an ideal option for larger groups of up to 14 people.
