Byron Bay is located on the east coast of Australia and is a 40 minute drive south of Australia's famous Gold Coast in sunny Queensland, and two hours' drive south of Queensland's capital city Brisbane.
It is only a one hour flight from Sydney.

Massinger Spa & Sanctuary and Carlyle are situated in the heritage quarter of Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. It is less than ten minute's walk to the famous Clarkes beach and a six minute walk to the town centre or a one minute drive.
By Air
Ballina Airport in New South Wales is a 25-30 minute drive south of Byron Bay. Virgin Blue, Jestar and Qantas fly daily jet services from Sydney and Melbourne; Rex (Regional Express) fly daily services from Sydney.
Coolangatta Airport on the Gold Coast, is a 40 minute drive north of Byron Bay. Virgin Blue, Qantas and Jetstar fly services daily from Melbourne and Sydney.
Brisbane Domestic/International Airport is a 2 hour drive north of Byron Bay. All major airlines fly direct jet services daily.
By Road
9 hours drive north of Sydney, 2 hours drive south of Brisbane, 40 minute drive from the Gold Coast's Coolangatta airport.
Daily coach services to Byron Bay leave from Sydney (4 coaches per day), Brisbane (7 coaches per day) and Melbourne via Sydney (3 coaches per day)
Transfers available from terminals by shuttle bus, taxi, chauffered car or self drive hire car.
The Garden Villa and Penthouse, Belongil Beach
Travelling by road, if approaching Byron Bay from the Pacific Highway, take the Byron Bay exit along Ewingsdale Rd; turn left at Kendall St just after the 50km zone, noting the sign “Belongil Beach House” / “Satori Beach Café” (you've gone too far if you find yourself in Byron Bay town itself). Cross the railway tracks (Kendall Street now becomes Border Street and within 50 metres changes its name once more to Childe Street). You will find Blisshouse just past the Satori Beach Cafe on the left. Number 23 Childe St, corner of Giaour St.
If approaching Belongil from Byron Bay town, head out of town over the other set of railway tracks, past the Police station along Ewingsdale Rd, turn 3rd on the right at Kendall St noting the sign “Belongil Beach House” / “Satori Beach Cafe” and cross the railway track. Kendall Street now becomes Border Street, and within 50 metres changes its name once more to Childe Street). Blisshouse is just past the Satori Beach Cafe on the left. Number 23 Childe St, corner of Giaour St.

Massinger Spa & Sanctuary, Clarkes Beach
Travelling by road, if approaching Byron Bay from the Pacific Highway take the Byron Bay exit from the Pacific Highway which takes you along Ewingsdale Road (the main road into Byron) – cross the railway tracks and go straight through the main roundabout in town along Lawson Street, then turn right into Massinger Street at Clarkes Beach. Go straight through the roundabout at the crest of the hill and you will find Massinger Spa & Sanctuary at the bottom of the hill. Massinger Spa & Sanctuary is Number 79 and is just at the end of Kingsley Street.

Blisshouse Carlyle, Clarkes Beach
If approaching Byron Bay from the Pacific Highway take the Byron Bay exit from the Pacific Highway which takes you along Ewingsdale Road (the main road into Byron) - cross the railway tracks and go straight through the main roundabout in town along Lawson Street, then turn right into Massinger Street at Clarkes Beach. At the crest of the hill turn right at the roundabout into Carlyle Street. Carlyle is 2nd on the right - Number 63 Carlyle Street.

Byron Bay Weather
The average temperature in summer is 27° Celsius (semi-tropical climate) and 18° Celsius in winter however we recommend you check the forecast prior to your departure. If you are staying during our winter months of June, July and August we recommend you bring suitable warm clothing for the cooler evenings.
What not to bring
We provide fine linen, bath and beach towels, robes, hair dryers plus Sanctum Spa bathroom products including soap, shampoo/conditioner. In the kitchen, we supply gourmet teas and coffee.
